How do we describe Alison and Dom’s wedding day? It would be easy to call it beautiful because it certainly was all of that with its gorgeous setting at the Powel Crosley Estate, the blush colored roses, gardenias and a couple deeply in love. The word whimsical comes to mind when we remember the bronzed flamingos tucked into the floral arrangements and the ones scattered about the lawn, guiding wedding guests along the way. We could toss in words like elegant, romantic, or warm to describe this wedding. Yet somehow we always circle back to the word heartfelt.
Heartfelt.
Heartfelt because every moment teemed with genuine love and we not only witnessed it, we felt it. Alison and Dom, thank you for inviting us to document your beautiful wedding. You and your families were beyond welcoming and gracious. May your lives together be full of heartfelt joy and happiness.

Bronzed flamingos dotted the pathways, guiding guests to the festivities while adding a bit of Florida whimsy to the day.
The nautical details, starting with the invitation suite, were inspired by Alison and Dom's beach engagement.
Floral arrangements of blush roses, ranunculus, gardenias and succulents are such a pretty palette for a wedding. The flowers smelled incredible.
Alison created a keepsake for each of her parents, making this mother-daughter moment even more special.
Alison was an exquisite bride and such a delight to be around. Her classic style and simple updo were so lovely.
Oh, the look on her dad's face... Heartwarming moments like this one filled the entire day.
It's a privilege when couples trust us enough to be open and carefree while we photograph them with their loved ones, resulting in these genuine moments.
Dom got some lighthearted teasing thanks to his brothers who looked sharp in their seersucker suits.
How fun are those flamingo details on the bow ties and pocket squares?
Elegant Designs Floral Art Studio did a lovely job, especially with this wooden cross wrapped in vines and flowers.
The ceremony had to be moved indoors because of a rainstorm but Dom said having their family and guests closer by made it a more intimate experience.

So often it's the little moments, like this one between Alison and her twin sister, that stay with you forever.
The wedding party were stylish in blue and fun to photograph.
One of our favorite parts of the wedding day is when we get time alone with our couples for newlywed portraits. It's so great to see them enjoying these first moments of being married.
The flamingos are back this time they're tucked into the tabletop floral arrangements! Love the anchor cake topper.
