Romantic Waterfront Engagement Session at Straub: St Petersburg Engagement Photographer
 

Mindi and Jason's love story had a serendipitous start. Mindi, a surgical resident with a demanding work schedule, ventured out for a rare night on the town at her roommate/friend Lindsay's behest.  Jason was in town for a short stay to celebrate a birthday and visit his mom and brother. Somehow they both ended up at the same Tampa nightspot, Cheap. Mindi noticed a handsome stranger in the crowd but they didn't connect. But somehow they both ended up at Mangroves later that evening. When Mindi saw that stranger again, she took a chance, said hello and then declared, “You look bored.”  

The ensuing three years have been quiet the opposite, with the two falling in love, navigating long distance and Jason relocating to Florida to be with Mindi. Now they're planning to get married this fall! And to think it all started with a simple hello.

Mindi and Jason carved out time out of their busy schedules for an engagement shoot. Their session began at home with a few portraits of Mindi with her beloved Schnoodle, Daisy Doodle while Sammy--the couple's energetic foster pup turned permanent family member--looked on. We dashed off with them to Straub Park to stroll along the waterfront close to where Jason proposed and stopped by The Birchwood where they'll host their wedding festivities. The way Mindi and Jason are together made for a of sweet, flirty afternoon and we're so looking forward to their wedding!
